Latest Saree Edition

Sarees are likely to characterize an Indian woman’s elegance. We’ve chosen sarees for weddings, parties, farewells, and other important occasions for decades. As a result, designers continue to create new saree styles each season. We’re seeing some amazing saree trends this year that you may wear to weddings or other joyful gatherings!

Thin Borders

There were days when a huge collection of sarees with wide borders was in our closets. This year, we’ve seen a lot of thin border sarees, and we have a lot of reasons to like them. They’re light, easy to manage, and suitable for a variety of events. As a result, thin-bordered sarees are the most popular saree style for 2022. According to our current saree trends report. Thin borders look sophisticated and are an excellent choice for a variety of situations. Whether it’s a wedding or a low-key function, you can always choose thin border sarees.

Belted Silhouettes

This season, saree dresses with a belt as the main feature, built into the shape and sewed onto the saree, are popular. You may also wear a conventional saree with a belt, as we saw numerous lovely sarees with belts on display. Belts not only dress up sarees, but they also help to define your waist. These belts are made particularly for sarees, and they are made from the same fabric and colour as the saree.

Double Fabric

Combining several fabrics in one saree is a stylish concept that gives the saree a distinctive look and makes it stand out in a crowd. We saw a variant of this style with contrasting pallus a few years ago, and now it’s back, and it’s much better! This season, we’re seeing satin or georgette combined with net, elaborately embroidered net fused with velvet, and so forth. In the list of saree trends for 2022, this is one of my favourites.

Ruffles

Ruffles are highly popular, despite the fact that they are not a new trend. It has even made it into the top five trends for our saree trends for 2022 this year. Many actresses are seen wearing ruffled sarees to red carpet events or community festivities. We’ve seen alluring ruffles in the designer saree collections of leading designers this season. Both light sarees with delicate ruffles and richly decorated sarees with enormous ruffles have been spotted.

Pleatless Saree

Sarees with a unique design that deviates from the norm are known as concept sarees. We’re seeing pleatless concept sarees coupled with unusual blouses this season. If pleating isn’t your thing, go for these ultra-trendy pleatless sarees. These are ready-to-wear sarees with a sophisticated shape that offers you an elegant appearance. They’re simple to put on and even simpler to carry because there’s no need to pin the pallu or arrange the pleats.

Sequin Work

Sequins may be found in plenty! We’re seeing a lot of sequin work on dresses, lehengas, and sarees. We’ve seen sarees coated in bright sequins before. This gleaming appearance is guaranteed to catch the eye. The sequin sarees are typically plain colours or have a two-color gradation with very tiny borders. Sequin sarees look great with embroidered or patterned blouses. I like Madhuri Dixit’s white silver gown, which is adorned with small silver sequins and has exquisite fringes at the hems.

Statement Blouse

Although a blouse is equally as significant as the saree itself, the designers have taken care of this as well. We’ve come across some lovely blouses with elaborate embroidery that we’d like to share! Backless blouses, fringes, stones, sequins, and a whole lot more were on display.
