BayTaShah- A Vineyard Wedding Story

In Arpit and Tanya‘s hectic Bombay lives, there was little room for love. The year was 2017, and they had their first date amid heavy rains and a common love of wine. Over the course of three years, Arpit’s attempts to woo Tanya swivelled into a lighthearted romance, culminating in a magical Udaipur proposal that culminated in an unbelievable wedding voyage .

Before they got to their vineyard wedding, Tanya and Arpit had a few alternative wedding plans. Covid threw a wrench in everyone’s plans, but they’re glad they ended up where they did—reminiscing about their courting days in the Sula vineyards.

Proposal

With the help of her sister, she visited Udaipur and stayed at the Jagat Niwas, which overlooks the lake. He escorted her to the terrace, and she was completely taken aback when she saw the arrangement since it was precisely what she had fantasised her entire life: a romantic Bollywood proposal.

Mehendi

They officially kicked off the #BayTaShah wedding celebration with Mehendi at brides’s home. It was an afternoon with henna application, scrumptious food and lots of dancing.

HALDI

The couple’s wedding celebrations in Sula began with a “Tel Ban” ritual this then continued with Haldi. The evening function had energetic dhol music, a full dance floor, flowery jewellery, and a potli bag vendor.

POOL PARTY

For their party by the pool, navy blue accents and hints of silver was the decided dress code. With fun filled games and music all around, an enthusiastic bunch of family and friends danced away.

Sangeet and Wedding ceremony

Sangeet included starry fun filled night with personalized selection of songs, dance performances and contemporary white and golden décor.

Tanya decided to add some sparkle to her sangeet opting for an ivory lehenga by Seema Gujral and diamond jewellery designed by her friend whereas Arpit complemented her in a Maroon Bandhgala by Sarah & Sandeep.

With the wedding stage constructed in the midst of beautiful vineyards creating a beautiful setting for the sundowner Pheras.

Tanya opted for a berry sorbet lehenga by Anita Dongre for the big day. She said “I wanted a traditional outfit either in red or pink and always wanted to be an Anita Dongre’s bride”. Her designs and intricate details brought an unusual sparkle in her eyes.
