fILMY Arranged marriage: beautiful love chronicle of Sonam and vijay

“A good marriage isn’t something that you find, it’s something you make and you have to keep on making it.”

And that’s what the lovey-dovey couple, Sonam and Vijay look forward to as they recently decided on forever. And you know what, theirs was an arranged marriage but a total filmy one. Sonam is married her real sister’s brother-in-law. Yes, that’s what you read! Getting Hum Aapke Hain Koun feels? Well, hi-fi on this! So let’s go ahead and see what the bride has revealed to us in an exclusive conversation. Here you go!

Tell us something about you and your partner? How did you guys meet? What sparked the idea of a marriage?

It was an arranged marriage but it was arranged 3 years before when we both were studying. I got married to my real sister’s brother-in-law . All those 3 years were amazing because we secretly met as in my family its not allowed to meet before marriage so our secret meeting were fun and adventurous.

How did you choose the wedding destination?

My parents choose the destination, according to the convenience of both the families and guests

What were the first things that you planned?

I booked my mua atleast 7 months prior to the wedding because i wanted the best one but i still didnt get the one i wanted because she was booked but i am still very grateful to makeupbysonal she did a wonderful job.

Tell us about each outfit you picked for all the functions?

I picked my golden lahenga and pink gown for engagement.. i was totally in love with my golden outfit it was from payal keyal and it was wonderful.

Red lahenga was from dvasabyabhi and i got the entire lehenga customised and designed it . Dvasabyabhi did a wonderful job and made exactly the way i wanted it to be. I highly recommend that shop to everyone

How did you pick Groom’s outfit? Did you guys co-ordinate?

We wanted a very simple and elegant outfit for the groom so that’s what we got at studybyjanak south ex . We tried to coordinated with his check pagdi and my pink ghachola.

How did you plan everything? How was your experience planning the wedding?

I planned my wedding with my family , and we all had experience plus it was very easy from both the sides because of my elder sister she was planning the wedding for both the families and we had a lot fun shopping and planning everything.

Did anything go wrong? How did you handle it if so.

Nothing went wrong everything was great

Advise for future brides?

Just enjoy your  D day and days before the wedding and i will advise the brides to not get there outfits colour changed because 99% they don’t turn out that way . My engagement gown’s colour was not what I wanted and was very disappointing . So always buy what you see .
