“You look like the rest of my life”
We all know that cupid strikes two people when the person is and time is right. This happened in the case of our lovely couple Ruchi and Aashit. Cupid tied them up in the city where dreams come true – Mumbai. Ruchika and Aashit’s meeting was arranged by their parents but they seem to get along fine. They met often and finally realized one day that they belong together and want to spend the rest of their lives together.
It was a casual coffee date while Ruchika and Aashit were sipping on coffee, making memories and having the time of their lives. Aashit took this as his cue and popped the question to Ruchika. She obviously said ‘yes’ and thus he became ‘Ruchi ka Aashit’.
They decided to get married on 28th February 2019 at Treat Resorts, Silvasa. The wedding festivities started with Sagan. It was paired with the engagement ceremony. Ruchika and Aashit kept this on the modern side where the bride wore a shimmery gown while the groom wore a long kurta, pairing it with a blue velvet blazer jacket and blue shoes. Their families surprised the couple with some sweet performances.
For the Mehendi function, the couple chose a vibrant colored decor. They had round lamps and marigold garlands as their decor elements. Ruchika was dressed in a neon green lehenga that she paired with a dark green crop top with a net jacket attached. Aashit, on the other hand, was dressed simply in an elegant white kurta with a grey hued jacket and haar.
The wedding took place in a traditional Hindu ceremony. Ruchika was dressed in a gorgeous red lehenga set. She completed her look with a traditional gold necklace set, nath and chuda. Aashit, on the other hand, was dressed in an ivory-colored kurta set with a Kesari colored safa and a kundan kalgi and haar.
Ruchika made a grand entrance in a palki and Aashit entered on a ghodi.
