Janifar has a well established online fashion business called Pankh Clothing, whereas, Mohit owns a factory that manufactures and imports electric rickshaws. They met through a common acquaintance and instantly became friends. Their friendship turned into something more when Mohit asked Janifar for the marriage instead of dating.

Mohit and Janifar share an amazing bond of friendship, and he is a true gentleman whereas she considers herself to be a spoilt brat. But she knew he’d take good care of her because he accepted her the way she is. So, there was no reason for her to deny his proposal and Janifar said, ‘Yes’.

The wedding celebrations kick-started with a cocktail party where the couple and their guests enjoyed a performance by Punjabi singer-actor Jassie Gill.

The mehndi ceremony included a mix of traditions and fun moments that brought out the couple’s distinct personalities. The bride wore a powder blue lehenga with floral embellishments and quirky sandals. The groom chose a semi-traditional kurta in onion pink for this function.

The planning and decor were done by Evolve Weddings. The ceremony involved fun, laughter and heady beats of the ‘dhol’ and all these fun festivities were captured by Cinelove Productions.

The sangeet ceremony was a classy affair and was designed in red theme. Janifar and Mohit performed on romantic ballads and guests enjoyed grooving to some peppy live performances.

The venue for Sangeet was set in open-air designed for a sit-down dinner with chandeliers and floral arrangements that added a bright essence to the setting.

Janifar and Mohit got married in a traditional Sikh Anand Karaj ceremony, where the couple wore complementary ensembles that featured shades of pastel pink.

The Anand Karaj was followed by a Hindu wedding ceremony for which the bride donned a cream and red lehenga. The couple’s Varmala ceremony looked straight out of a fairytale as chandeliers added a magical glow to the decor and venue.
