Clement and Nancy studied in the same school, but never really had the chance to interact with each other. When facebook came around, they became friends on facebook and started chatting with each other. Clement and Nancy remained friends for more than 5 years before dating.

Within two months of dating the ides of marriage popped in their minds. They realized how much they love to be with each other and how madly in love they were. Immediately they finalized everything and got married after one year.

Everything was planned by Nancy herself. Clement and Nancy both wanted to get married in their church in Dahod, which is a century old and has lots of sentiment attached to it.

The entire church was decorated by members of the congregation, and things like ring platter and pew bows were handmade by Nancy. Since it was a small town they decided to source local vendors for decor and catering.

The photographer for all the functions was Bharat Goswami from Ahmedabad, and MakeUp Artist was from BeautyMantra in Vadodara. Invites were from Ragini Cards in Vadodara.

The choreography was done by Renison Macwan of Fly Dynamite.

For the Wedding bride Nancy wore a customized bridal gown from Christian Heritage Bridal in Mumbai and accessorized her look with a dainty diamond necklace from Tanishq, and a bracelet from Swarovski. While the handsome groom Clement wore a customized tuxedo from Raymond.

For the Haldi function bride’s outfit was designed by herself from scratch and she sourced local fabrics and tailors for the execution of it.

For Sangeet Ceremony she got her dress from Gauri Heritage Store in Vadodara.

There are several emotional moments during wedding ceremonies.

For Nancy first was during her Mehendi function when she had some trouble with the decorator, and Clement came to make sure she was alright. She broke down and hugged him tight and the entire family melted around out of emotion.

The second was during her Haldi function when her father broke down and everyone was smiling with tears in their eyes while consoling him.

Advise for future brides: “Please delegate your tasks if you don’t have a wedding planner, you would be at peace. And learn to let things take their route, I became too obsessed with doing everything by myself and missed out on a lot of fun. Keep enough buffer time for your bridal portraits, mine was too rushed because we ran out of time. Apply your Mehendi a day before your function so that you can enjoy instead of sitting for 5 hours.”
