1984: Their first meet
Did you know that SRK fell for 14 years old Gauri when he was just 18 years old? According to various insights, it is said that the couples 1st date was at Delhi’s Panchshika Club.

Once SRK was able to get his hands on Gauri number he would call her home by pretending to be a friend named Shaheen.
1991: The history of SRK and Gauri Wedding
Just like DDLJ the road to the hearts of his sweetheart was not easy. Due to a massive fight b/w two Gauri left for Mumbai, SRK with only Rs 10,000 in his pockets followed her to Mumbai. The couple finally got married on Oct 25,1991.
A Fun Fact: SRK had to borrow the suit from the costume department of his movie “Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman” for the nuptial
1991: They moved to Mumbai
Having worked in several TV series, SRK decided to pursue his dreams. He never knew an unknown land named “Mumbai” was going to be the “Mannat” of his dreams. But believe it or not Gauri Khan was least amused with this idea. “She prayed for SRK film to fail so that they could move back to Delhi” director & a dear friend Karan Johar once told in an interview.
Gauri Khan admits it was only after she met SRK started enjoying his passion for Cinema. Over the years Gauri Khan stood as a pillar with as well behind the now know as King Khan.
1997: Welcome their First Child
After six years, the Khan’s finally welcomed their 1st child, Aryan on Nov 13.
Since then, the family which started with only two people has grown by three more. SRK & Gauri’s only daughter Suhana, was born on May 22,2000.
For their third child they opted for surrogacy. He was named AbRam Khan and was born on May 27, 2013.
While SRK always remain in the spotlight his family is also nothingless of a celebrity. In an interview Gauri revealed that Shah Rukh is the best husband and father one can ask for. While Shah Rukh never misses any opportunity to spend time with his family, we are able to spot him enjoyingbwith his family.
