Born and brought up in Delhi and later moved to Mumbai for college and stayed there for a while for work purpose, Karishma met Harsh in Mumbai itself as Harsh is a Bombay boy. Karishma is a celebrity stylist of very well-known actors like Ritesh and Genelia Deshmukh, SaiyamiKher, Juhi Chawla etc. and Harsh was into acting since he was 7 years old and also acted in some phenomenal films like Gupt, Raju Chacha etc. and later he ventured into his family business of jewelry and is now a jeweler by profession.
Now the fun part starts, how did they meet? Well, Karishma explains it as a filmy kind of story, if it’s not filmy then it is not a love story, right? So, they met in a club sat opposite to each other he was with his friends and she was with her friends. So, it was ladies night and for that day ladies have to wear pink to get free drinks and well, here you will see the destiny playing its role, so Karishma wore a grey color dress and Harsh’s friend owned the club and he made him change the rule that girl in grey could go and make her drink at the bar, nice right.
What happens next? So, the manager approaches her with the offer which she was least interested in but the manager constantly pestered her so she went to the counter with her friend and then Harsh was so interested in her that he send his friend to take a feedback of their first experience in the bar and later to tell her that Harsh found her cute and that if she would mind joining her on the table. Isn’t that cute? Obviously, who will go right and she very politely refused the proposal and then she and her friends went back to sit at their own respective tables. Harsh just was not able to stop himself and then he himself went and introduced himself to her haha! So funny and cute right.
Just to start a conversation he asked her that whether she hated the drink because she was making faces while drinking wow, such observations. It sounds cliché right now, but you know it is said when time is right then everything seems right, so next step he offered her to buy the drink and guess what she accepted it but then she took along her friend, well she was not interested in anything as such with a boy just a bit of entertainment. Soon, they started talking with each other and found a common topic i.e. animals and at last he forced to drop both of them they exchanged numbers and Harsh was too eager he just couldn’t wait and he insisted on meeting her the very next day as she was not interested so she refused and as Harsh was very keen so he messaged her that much that she has to block him oh my god! Lol. And later after sometime she herself messaged him asking him to meet her for dinner and then later he took her to his stud farm in Karjat to meet his horses and as they both had common thing i.e. animals. So, seeing his commitment, passion and love towards them slowly and gradually changed her heart and from that time where Harsh is running after her to Karishma finally falling for him everything changer and here they are getting married.
So, both Harsh and Karishma always wanted to celebrate their wedding ceremonies in their hometown and so the destination was set. But because of their hectic schedule they just couldn’t decide the date. They just can’t delay it more so the dates were decided in January 2018, and they started the preparation just one month away from the wedding. From their clothes to venue to flowers, decors, food menu everything was picked by them, they went together to the places starting from early morning to night they will go out to dyers, tailors, decorators, florists to pick what they like and have their dream wedding.
Now, coming to lehengas, being stylist herself Karishma already knew the trends so it was a cakewalk for her. Her first outfit was from Kalki Fashions and Nimit helped her in getting freshly embroidered, cut and stitched as per her size and as soon as she tried it she knew she is taking this dress. Her other two outfits were from Shantanu & Nikhil everyone loves their fusion edgy ethnic style and so do Karishma. The first outfit was for her Delhi reception a beautiful off white lehenga, gold leather, zardozi embroidery paired with amazing balloon sleeve blouse and along with for Harsh they picked an off-white drape kurta, textured jacket and pants with Gold Versace shoes.
For Mumbai reception the other outfit was a gown with horses printed all over and her husband loves horses how romantic! And along with that Harsh had similar print tuxedo. Being a stylist, she has to design something for her husband right, so for pherasshe designed his sherwani, the color was dyed as per her choice and they wanted a kurta which could be worn again and not just one-time wear and make it a cool outfit.
Weddings without one problem can never be a wedding so here we go, Krishma gave Harsh’s sherwani to a tailor whom she had already worked before but you know problem has to be there so for some reason the tailor took 20 days to create that and spoilt every nook and corner and moreover the size was 3 times bigger that her husband’s size wow!. But then at last things worked out.

HAPPINESS will show on your face and that is the most important thing. DON’T let the nerves get the better of you. If at all your OCD about your looks make sure your outfits and the décor are in sync and in a color palette. The images are visuals that stay with you for life. Take enough time planning and be sure of what you want because choices can be INTIMIDATING.
