Who knew that Kannada guy will fall in love with Delhi born Himachali girl. Santosh was the one who failed in almost 5 interviews, after a struggle in Mumbai and Chennai he landed in Delhi, finally settled as a senior resident in ENT dept of a corporate hospital.
On the eve of Holi, a beautiful lady with a mole on her upper lip walked into his OPD with complaints of the running nose; from there the conversation got converted into weekend dates at Cafe Lota, Potbelly and a drunken date too at FLYP (MTV). In no time he began running behind the nose ring of Sonam.
She was a chips loving dietitian and he was gym loving surgeon.
After 6 months of chatting and dating on 19 June 2017, the poet in him was born and he proposed with such heart touching lines:
“Rare red wine, my sun shine, with you my life is divine, Will you forever be mine”.
And she agreed.
It took another 6 months to convince their unconventional parents and to fix our wedding at “Gulbarga Karnataka”.
Than the cultural extravaganza of 2 states ended up with disco themed Mata ki chowki and engagement ceremony at Delhi and final wedding in South Indian style at Karnataka.
For the 1st time Himachalis from Delhi and Punjab saw the sun rise, in a sober state and witnessed 7 pheras in white lungies.
The guests looked like a fashion show contestants’ with Punjabi suits with red lipsticks and Silk Sarees with red bindhi.
Wedding outfit of groom got stitched from Via Monte Milano commercial street Bangalore, and his kurta salwar was bought from manyavar. She got her wedding silk sarees from Sudharshan silks Chickpet Bangalore. Her engagement and kirtan Lehenga bought from Punjabi style Rajori garden Delhi, she herself designed her mehendi dress, bought the dress material from chandini chowk, asiana corture. The bride was totally enjoying her speacial day, as she knew this day will never come back , so she grabbed all the fun moments and has store those moments, that she can recall in future.
They both followed all the rituals groom enjoyed all the Punjabi rasams, and bride was amazed to see all the new rituals south Indians follow.
