“They say that when two people are destined to be together, no matter the distance that is keeping them apart, they somehow find a way of coming together.”
That is exactly what happened with our beautiful couple Kanika and Aditya. It was only their ‘first meeting’, (4th Oct 2017 ) which happened because of an office event, where they had a long conversation but only about work and at last Aditya asked her for a cup of coffee.
This is how things get started; the couple always used to stay connected online & when Aditya came to Chandigarh to meet Kanika. He took her for a long drive to hills where they had a long conversation from which they came to know that they have a lot in common & after this couple started meeting each other regularly.
After Valentine’s Day they went for their 1st date in Chandigarh, It is funny and maybe nobody would believe them but by the end of the day, in their heads, it was a “YES”. Following that, they met a few times and felt like they had known each other for ages. Later, Aditya planned a surprise for her birthday and after that they decided to move to the next step & got engaged on 21st September 2018. They also fixed their wedding date for 9th march.
Wedding photographer is one of the important parts of wedding because he can capture best moment for the lifetime.
So undoubtedly couple chose one of their very good friend “Vipulsharmaphotography” and then it started with pre-wedding shoot. As Kanika always wanted to get it done in snow & hills, so what could be best than beautiful Manali. When the pictures and video came out nobody believed that she had done it in -5 degree because she is kind of person who cannot sit in AC even in summers for more than half an hour but she did it because it was a dream.
The beginning of wedding:
After the dream photo-shoot, it was time for the big day. For this they had to select a venue that both families would like and fulfill all the requirements which was rooftop & pool side mandap for pheras, so they selected Radisson Chandigarh zirakpur. Kanika always thought about her dream wedding so she knew what she wanted when it came to the wedding decor, attires, pictures, food menu & whole day schedule.
Sangeet was one fun night, which was graced with the presence of amazing performances by family & friends and moreover everyone looked happy and enjoyed it to the fullest.
Kanika’s makeup artist Sunny from Cleopatra gave her the perfect matte & nude look which was appropriate for her wedding day. Kanika says,”I’ve always wanted a velvet hot pink color for my wedding outfit & Aditya was dressed in a light beige sherwani with golden turban and for reception I always wanted royal & dark theme so I choose dark grey fairy style gown with long tail & groom was dressed in black tux and this is how we created memories to be cherished forever. For future brides, I just want to say that do whatever your dream is, never think what people will gonna say, just enjoy your wedding your way & make it memorable for rest of your life.”
