As Supreme Court has decriminalized section 377, many same sex couples were found celebrating their victory; they were draped together in a rainbow flag. Just like other weddings, many gay and lesbian weddings are also featured over social media, similarly Sundas Malik and Anjali Chakra  has gone viral on social media for all the right reasons, they recently attended multiple weddings in New York , and celebrated their one year anniversary ,they were so happy and looked incredibly beautiful in their ethnic attire.

Sundas Malik is a Muslim artist from Pakistan and Anjali Chakra, a Hindu from India, released pictures of their photoshoot on Twitter, and beautiful is an understatement.

The photos were posted on social media by their photographer @Sarowarrrr with the caption, ‘A New York Love Story’.

Anjali  was somehow not able to reveal this relation in public as  she said: ‘When we first started dating I used to let go of Sufi’s hand a few blocks before my office when she walked me to work because I was scared people would find out I was queer.’

In another heartwarming post celebrating their one year anniversary of being together, Anjali Chakra gives a peek into their love story.

First time , Hindu -Muslim, Bharat -Pakistan, same sex love story broke all the barriers.

Looking happier than ever, Anjali was wearing a blush pink saree while Sundas could be seen flaunting a mint green lehenga from a lovely designer Indian clothing rental brand –  Borrow The Bazaar, accessorized with beautiful jewellery, bindis and nose pins from ‘Jewel me Best’.

Malik also took to Instagram to share some pictures from the shoot and captioned it, “I’m usually the kurta to her lehenga, so coming up with family-ready femme wedding outfits was more than a little stressful for me.” And we couldn’t stop ourselves from sharing this beautiful story of these two girls.

The love that the two share was strong enough to surpass all the religion and gender stereotypes. They say all fair in love, and they’ve proved.

What’s more, this is actually what gives us hope. The way that for each homophobic and backward individual on the planet, we have a wonderful couple in affection that will make all the loathe change into motivation and demonstrate that love has no religion, no sexual orientation, no divergence. The sum total of what it has is two individuals obsessed with one another.

We wish this couple all the very best for future.
