Priyanka Chopra the heartthrob of India married the music sensation of America Nick Jonas in a lavish wedding ceremony, on December 1, 2018, in the presence of their closest family and friends. - Location for the wedding- She chose Taj Ummaid Bhawan Palace in Udaipur as her wedding destination. It is considered to be one of the lavish and beautiful Palace. They had all the wedding ceremonies in the private gardens of the Palace.
- The Wedding Dress- PC’s included a mix of western with an Indian designer. She had both Christian and Indian wedding as well. The gown chosen for the Christian wedding had eight different phrases hand-stitched on the dress which had great importance for the bride, including the wedding date, the full name of her husband, Nicholas Jerry Jonas, and her parents’ names, Ashok and Madhu. A piece of her mother-in-law’s wedding dress was also sewn on the dress. The groom wore a black suit.
Her Indian wedding dress was red Sabyasachi Lehanga, hand-embroidered by 110 embroiders from Calcutta. Nick wore a golden silk sherwani designed by Sabyasachi with a hand-embroidered chikan dupatta.
- Customized Jewelry- Priyanka Chopra chose a variety of jewelry for the wedding. From light jewelry to heavy as well. Most of the jewelry was made of diamond and specially customized to match her look and dress.
- Other Ceremonies- the other ceremonies of PC’s wedding includes a lavish Mehandi, Haldi and Sangeet Ceremony. She chose to wear a combination of Indian as well as western designer dresses. She wore a multicolor lehenga for her Mehandi ceremony with some light jewelry. Nick complimented her by wearing a kurta pajama. Both chose to wear a white dress with a little touch of maroon to it.
- The guest list- The guest list for this lavish wedding included some of the famous names from the industry such as the Ambani, Ranveer-Deepika, and many other VVIP guests.
