Jab We Met:
Our Beautiful bride Palak and Groom DivJot were in the same College. Palak was senior. They used to take the same cab as they resided in the same area. That’s how their friendship started. It used to be 1-1.5 hour journey from school to home, they used to talk, share how their day went and all the inside jokes. Since Divjot was a junior, Palak was protective of DivJot.
Time elapsed, two became best friends. Who knew it was Forever? There were always sparks, but since he was a junior Palak never paid attention to it. College friends used to tease & they used to just laugh about it. They used to meet often, spend time as friends. Both started working, years passed, but they continued staying friends. Communication was not very often, but they made sure they don’t lose touch, even when they don’t meet frequently.

First time traveling abroad, Palak used to miss her family and friends. DivJot made sure that Palak had an excellent stay and was always there for her. Despite his hectic schedule, he was still available for her. The spark came back as they spent more time together. DivJot was disconsolate when Palak was leaving, but he didn’t express it.

Finally, when Palak reached India, he confessed his feelings for her. But Palak was reluctant because it was a long-distance & it might affect their friendship. Palak had an inhibition that she didn’t want to be in Long Distance. After 3-4 months, In October, Palak had to go back all of a sudden. Yes! Back to Melbourne. This time DivJot camouflaged all his feelings, stayed like a good friend. Friendship was an essential factor for both.

The way that they used to care about each other already felt like they were in a relationship. She spent 6 months in Melbourne. Time passed, they managed to stay friends. Palak came back to India, changed her job. Palak’s family was looking for a suitable guy for her. Palak & DivJot used to speak, both families were looking for a possible match. Both were confused, as they knew they ‘couldn’t settle for just anyone as they didn’t want to get married to strangers. Only they knew each other.

Both got busy with their job. In October 2018, DivJot was planning to come back to India. Palak asked DivJot to meet the very next day. She started to seriously think about her relationship with DivJot because he was coming to see prospective matches. Palak used to feel sad and insecure whenever DivJot would talk about meeting other girls. She used to feel jealous. Palak knew this was the last chance, Probably she will not be able to tell again about what she was feeling. She thought a lot for a month. This time when she met DivJot, she hugged him. It was not a usual hug, it was longer one, and DivJot teased her saying it was intentional.

DivJot kept talking about prospective matches, and Palak discussed their families finding suitable matches. So one day Palak finally confessed her feelings about them knowing each other and spending life together. DivJot kept thinking that Palak is joking, but on the other hand, Palak was becoming serious about her marriage with DivJot. Later, Both were very sure. DivJot gave a hint to his parents on the very same day. After all Hustle and bustle finally they both seriously discussed their feelings with their parents to get married to each other soon.
The Wedding
The most strange thing about this marriage which gives a kick to all of us was the online Roka couple had.

Palak planned every detail for her wedding though she only had weekends for that. Palak had to prepare for everyone’s outfits whereas Our groom came only for 10 days before marriage. All of his clothing happened within those 10 days. It was quick and tiring both but nevertheless perfect out of all. Palak planned choreography and Everything went the way she had planned.
Venue: After several venues were explored, finally an outdoor venue was decided as Palak always wanted a Fun outdoor wedding. Ocean Pearl Retreat in Chhatarpur was kept as the final venue.

Wedding Lehenga was designed by Payal gill who is designer in Aashiyana . They only took appointments. and had an amazing way of showcasing lehenga. This lehenga struck everyone’s eyes.

Glam factory by Komal was MUA for sangeet.
Manpreet is the photographer for the event who clicked some amazing candid.
Every moment was memorable. Performances they gave on their engagements, the time spent on sangeet with friends, everything will be cherished for life. Though our emotional bride was all sunk in tears when it was Vidaai time.

Bride Special:
Palak’s advise to all the future brides: “Trust your guts when it comes to feelings. When it comes to finding clothes, don’t follow the trends. Pick up what looks good on you and keep calm!. It can get a bit overwhelming dealing with new people and family; also everyone wants their wedding to be perfect but don’t panic, things will fall in place. Don’t forget to enjoy your own wedding. Remember, these days will never come back to your life again.”
