How to make the best out of small covid wedding!

Jasmine and Avneet Singh arranged their initial wedding date of April 25, 2020. The large Punjabi party they had envisioned in Huntington Beach, California. Small covid wedding is when the actual day is nothing like they had imagined. Our original guest list of 300 had reduced to just three. “There was no horse-drawn parade headed by my now-husband,” she recalls. “However, despite the fact that we were in the midst of a pandemic, we were able to have a wonderful wedding.”

Jasmine acknowledges after deciding to postpone in early March, she didn’t even consider a civil wedding in New Jersey. It is all the courts were not available at the time. Her feelings—and, as a result, their plans—changed as their initial date approached “My fiancé and I just knew we couldn’t wait any longer, so we found an officiant, took a stroll near the waterfront, and really ‘saved the date” she explained.

She also tells “After going through a rollercoaster of emotions, the final and most lasting one is contentment. We feel incredibly fortunate to have solidified our union even during the most uncertain of times. We know we can really tackle anything life may throw at us!”

Now after the wedding she potrays it saying “Our story has always been unique, so it is only fitting the next chapter of our lives starts off with a twist as well. I am grateful to have a partner that shows immense adaptability and resilience even in the most uncertain of times”.

As Jasmine gives a covid wedding tip “Find an officiant within days of your original wedding date, forget all the small details of planning a big Punjabi wedding in California, and just do it!”.

Nothing is more essential than each other.
