Chandni and Ichchhit’s Classic Fairy tale

Doctors by profession, Chandni and Ichchhit first met in college. They went from being acquaintances to best friends during their time there. Over the years, they developed feelings for each other and started dating. Five years later, they were certain that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together and tied the knot in New Delhi.

The wedding festivities started with Mehendi function which was fun and vibrant held at The Umrao, a four-star property in New Delhi. Bright decor elements like marigold garlands and quirky umbrellas lit up the outdoor venue. Chandni and Ichchhit both opted for outfits by Sneha Lochan Couture. The bride paired her green and pink lehenga with floral jewelry strung along strands of pretty pearls.

The swanky engagement ceremony saw lots of shimmer and glam at the beautifully decorated Udman by Ferns N Petals, which is a charming boutique hotel in the capital. The bride-to-be wore a gorgeous grey gown with a feathered hem by Natasha Dalal, while her fiance donned a sharp Gaurav Gupta tuxedo. The couple even cut a three-tier cake that was decorated with their black and white photos.

Keeping it traditional for the Sikh wedding which was held at The Umrao, Chandni wore a heavily embellished pastel pink and gold lehenga by Asiana Couture lehenga, while Ichchhit wore an elegant Sabyasachi Mukherjee ensemble. Her well-coordinated jewelry for this function was all about tradition as she wore a maangtikka , large nath, dangling earrings, and a magnificent choker.

Chandni wore a classic red lehenga with gold embroidery by Sabyasachi Mukherjee which she paired with gorgeous jewellery, while Ichchhit opted for an ivory sherwani for the Hindu wedding ceremony that took place at JW Marriott in Aerocity. The bride made her entry under a lovely floral canopy held aloft by the male members of her family.

Advice For Future couple: “Enjoy every bit of the wedding. Things may not go as planned all the time, but that’s alright. Also, keep smiling because this day won’t come back again.”
