PRATEEK + EESHA: LOVE FOREVER

Their love story began at an office party, some flirtatious banter was exchanged. They soon discovered a mutual love for travel, food, and drinking. Overtime trips across India for work got them even closer and thus began to cherish their conversations & time together. In fall last year, Prateek popped the question in the middle of a desert in Dubai and Eesha said yes! And so, the journey began…

They wanted to get married in the Windy City of Baku, Azerbaijan, wrapped around the wondrous Caspian Sea. Keeping in mind a little chilly weather, everything was planned accordingly. They had two events which were happening outdoors, both morning events. The wardrobe that was decided was all pastels for the family.

Bride Esha wanted to keep it traditional but very elegant. The menfolk had to have suits & jackets and Indian wear while the ladies needed just Indian wear.

Prateek & Eesha wanted an elegant & chic ceremony. Everyone agreed that they loved Amaanta Farm’s panache for all the wedding functions. With its opulent décor & wide-open space, it was all about celebrating the venue itself.

As for dressing up, Eesha wanted to keep her look very simple. So, she chose a flowy pink lehenga by Mrunalini Rao. Pairing it with a diamond neckpiece to bring the look together. And Prateek wore a blue silk sherwani by Siddarth Tytler to complement his bride.

The family wanted outdoor locations for Mehendi. So, we decided to go with the Poolside at Fairmont. The décor was kept simple which included beautiful floral décor under the canopies to just enhance the location & help the guests enjoy the afternoon.

The bride decided to go for a monochrome indigo lehenga with floral motifs. To complement the lehenga she had some pretty floral jewelry from Prune India. The groom wore a mint green kurta with a tint darker Nehru jacket with motifs.

The theme for sangeet was a fusion of Middle East meets the Mediterranean, all that Azerbaijan as a country stands for. The bride wore a beautiful bright pink benarasi lehenga & the groom wore an indigo tuxedo, whereas the entire family followed a similar color palette.

The décor for the wedding was an awe-inspiring set-up. It was all about the beauty of our unique location. Set at Dreamland, a golf course resort in the heart of Baku and was kept minimal. With beautifully draped mandap, stylish seating & fresh flowers set against the luscious green. The fun element of the wedding was when the groom & his siblings came in a white Hummer, and the bride arriving in a golf cart and the couple departing the wedding venue in a vintage car. The bride wore a beautiful red Anita Dongre lehenga with a red & a dusty pink dupatta. Prateek was styled into a white sherwani by Sarabh Khanijou with a dusty pink embroidery, a matching pagh & a stole.

For the reception in Delhi summers, an enchanted forest theme that looked like a setup from Alice and the wonderland was chosen. The ideas were executed by the décor team at MorBagh. The bride wore a stunning bronze sequins lehenga which made her the show stopper of the evening & Prateek looked dapper while complimenting her in a black mandarin collar suit.
