As we all know opposites attract, this is what happened in the case of this couple. When they were just friends, never did they imagine that they will end up together. She is an outgoing person while he is very reserved. She is a city girl, and he’s a farm boy. However, he keeps her grounded, and she brings out his fun side.
Hark has been one of her pillars when she started her business, always super supportive of everything. Mani and Hark both run their own companies and are always on the go, so they love their time off from work together, just relaxing, Netflix and chill, going to the movies and the odd outdoor adventures.
They wanted to do an engagement party after the proposal since the wedding is going to be next year July 2020.
All her planning and arrangements were done by Sonia from Chic Events. They wanted to bring the Tulum theme to the engagement party. They also wanted it to be an all-white party so they asked guests to wear white with floral or linens for the ladies. Mani wanted everyone to look like as if they were going to a beach party.
For the decoration, they decided to do half a tent, and half a barn. Hark’s family house has a barn so it was transformed into a workable space.
She shopped at Mani Jassal for the functions as she wanted to have her own pieces. The engagement dress was designed by her with the boho touch to match the decor. Hark also wore a Mani Jassal menswear piece. It is one of the first occasions where she designed menswear.
They believed in the fact that being able to celebrate with the family is a blessing.
They had fireworks at the end which was very astonishing for both of them and they loved it.
Mani’s Advise for future brides: “You can spend months planning the event, but on the special day just let it all go and have fun. Comfort is the key! Make sure you are comfortable and do a look change for the dancing part. It’s your big day so why not show off all your looks.” She also advises the brides to hire a wedding planner as they reduces the burden from the family members and they can enjoy freely and happily.
